It's oxygen that make wine go bad, so there is an easy way to store it. Store it on it's side, so that the bottom is tilted upwards. That way the air pocket inside the bottle is at the bottom, not at the top near the cork. Cork is porous, it only keeps the wine in, not oxygen out.
Also, store the bottle somewhere cool and dark, 45-65 degrees is perfect. That should pretty much take care of it for at least a few months.
I've left you a link for a website that should have all the information you need.

All depends where you keep it once you open it. Make sure sunlight doesn't hit it... It makes it go bad really fast (2 Days). If you keep it in a refrigirator, then you should use something other that original corck to close it with. Depends on brand of wine too... Also how old/aged the wine is... Many things.... But in a fridge... couple months and then you better drink it fast... It loses the taste and the spirit... Good Luck.

It doesn't go bad persay. It won't last for long.. maybe a few days. I had a white wine and that's how long it was good for with the top on it.. so after it's opened the first time, it's a drink within 24 hours kind of thing...

There can be no set answer for this since each wine is structured differently and may peak at very different times.
Since white wines lack tannins derived from fermenting on the skins/seeds, their overall potential for aging well is diminished.
