All depends where you keep it once you open it.
Make sure sunlight doesn't hit it... It makes it go bad really fast (2 Days). If you keep it in a refrigirator, then you should use something other that original corck to close it with.

Depends on brand of wine too... Also how old/aged the wine is...
Many things.... But in a fridge... couple months and then you better drink it fast... It loses the taste and the spirit...

white wines usually shoud be consumed within 4 or 5 years. generally reislings are perfect about 3 years old, after that they go downhill. red wines get better with age, white wines should be consumed while still young.
