You won't wake up during it. They have machines that monitor you which can tell if your status is changing at all. If your status changes even the tiniest bit, they will pump more drugs in you to keep you knocked out.
You really should talk to your mom about your feelings, and you could tell your doctor how you feel also. After you hear that your doctor has done this hundreds of times with no problems, you will feel better about the whole thing.
I have had lots of operations, and you don't remember a thing from the moment they knock you out until you wake up in the recovery room after it's all over. It's just like going to sleep at night and then waking up again in the morning.

Surgery can be very frightening..especially to the very young. But your youth is an advantage. Gall bladder surgery is done very simply these days. They make 4 little incisions about an inch long in various places on your abdomen. I had mine out last year. I went home that same afternoon. Only slight tenderness. I was able to eat regular food almost immediately, and have had no problems since with that surgery. Your mother should check out the surgeon who is doing it to be sure there are no black marks on his record. If he is in good standing, put your fears to rest. You will feel better after the surgery.

Dear you wont be permitted to get up during surgery as your anaesthetist will be constantly check ing that not happening. In fact you will recover from anaesthesia only after your anaesthetist giving you a medicine. You must contact surgeon immediately and he wll explain all to you

Fear is pretty normal before a surgery. I had four neurological surgeries in the past year and a half. I was scared before every single one of them. They cut a hole in my skull the first time. The surgeon cut a hole in my vertebrae and severed a nerve during the last one (intentionally, not accidentally - part of the surgical procedure). The surgeries helped with my nerve pain, I didn't wake up during any of them, and the surgeons treated me with care in all of them. My faith in God helped me get through all of them with less fear.

Just relax. It is an easy experience with modern anaesthetics you won't know anything about it

Talk to your doctor & the anesthetist/anesthesiologist.
Let them know about your fears.
Also, talk with your mom.
