I dont understand how P.A programs work, one is a BA/BS the other a MS...? If I have a BS in engineering could I use that to apply for MS -P.A program or is there another route (and what is it),And finally (for now) if the program is generally 24-30 months then how does the curriculum work for a BS or MS?

You can basically study ANYTHING you want in undergrad and go to PA school, the only problem with studying something that's not science related is that you'll still have to take pre-reqs to get into the PA program and most likely will need many clinical hours. Your best bet is to go to the school that you're interested in and speak with a counselor...they usually have pretty good advice for you. To get your pre-reqs done, go to the cheapest school you can find b/c you'll be paying graduate tuition if you're already graduated.
Good luck!
