I'm taking a 3 day disney cruise, 1 stop at bahamas next day Castaway Cay.
I was told that bahamas doesn't have much to offer except a museum or to rent a room at Atlantis so you can use their facilities.
Anybody know of other activities?
Can I just stay on the ship? Is that allowed or do you HAVE TO get off the ship?

You can most definitely stay on board the ship. I have been to the Bahamas about 4 times and honestly I'm not very impressed with it, but that's my personal opinion. If you have never been there, I suggest you take a walk around and see what you think, if you don't like it you can always get back on the ship and enjoy the activities on board. Have a Blast KG

You'll have an AWESOME time! And NO, you don't have to leave the ship if you don't want to. In fact, some people schedule their trip to the Spa on port days, less crowded.
If you go to the DCL website, they do give you a list of shore excursions as well. If you don't have an interest in any of them, you can just wander the town for just an hour or whatever you want to do.
The ship and personnel are there to serve you and make you feel special! Be sure to have all your paperwork in order, no matter which way you decide. Oh, and plenty of sunscreen!
