i heard that peroxide...?

i heard peroxide and water will make ur hair lighter and i told my bff that and she said it would turn my hair orange but i don't know if thats becuz her hair was red to begin with. i want to keep my blonde hair but my parents wont let me do nuthin with it and i was hopin maybe this was a way to get it lighter w\o them freekin out. will it turn my hair orange?

it could, however dear as someone who's died their hair EVERY hair color of the rainbow, and have used just about any method
im telling you :
1.its not that affective
2.you'll make a mess
3.your parents will be mad
4.and depending on your natural tones in your hair, it can turn orange, or pink even
5. your parents will beeven more mad when you have to recolor
you orange/pink hair
6.you can really damage your hair

one solution is to ask your parents, if you get an allowance, or have an afterschool job, if YOU save up for getting it done PROPERLY at a salon somewhere. This will
A.show them that you are fiscally responsible
B.show them that you really thought about getting it done
C. that you just didnt run and do it behind their back

im 25, so i still rememebr being young, but im telling you that
this will go alot farther than just sneaking around and doing it,
or throwing a fit about it.
