Two years ago the Aneurysm was clipped, but over the last 2-3 months there's been memory and attention span problems. Could these be new warning signs - or deficits from the surgery ?

If the symptoms are new, yes, they are warning signs. I would get to the hospital ASAP and have a CT scan. Your neurosurgeon needs to be consulted, too.
Typically, attention and memory problems happen because something (blood or cerebrospinal fluid) is pressing on the fronto-temporal region of the brain. You don't want this to get any worse. GET OUT THE DOOR TO THE ER NOW!
