YES, you should discard the entire thing, 'coz it may cause viral infection on ur body on eating it, & you will have to incure expenses on medicines.....so rather through away the fungal meal which would be much much less than the medicines.

Unless you are able to identify the fungus and know its edibility then you should porbably discard the entire item...

Yes its better not to eat them. My food and nutrition teacher told about that.Fungus can leave toxins in the food through its roots.
