My spirit guide has never steered me wrong. Comments?

Now you know A delphic, your gonna burn in hell for believing in such nonsense. Last time I checked after reading the many scriptures that the christians on this forum write like a book. I do believe that Jesus(a man) had a spirit guide, and his name so shall it be called god. Oh how frightful to think that we as human beings have the same abilitie to connect with the divinity of god like a (man) called Jesus. Or did it mean that god was within us?
That would mean, oh no were not powerless, and we might have to take responsibility for our actions instead of blaming it on a scapegoat called the devil. Darn, and I had so hoped that I wouldnt get blamed for my actions, because the powerful manipulation of the devil that has led me astray.
Sorry A delphic I am sorry that i have been sarcastic with my phrasing, and I am sure I deserve no reward, it's just one of those days. As always I wish you well.

As I understand you question, you are not talking about a paster, priest or other Christian leader, but a person who uses other spirits than the Holy Ghost.
If that is the case, these emissaries are not from God, but are of the Devil. Satan has knowledge and power, so he can tell you things and make them happen. But at some point you will be directed to a better way than what is in the Bible. This is done to steer you away from God. You may receive some power to entice you, or some spiritual insight yourself, but this does not mean it if from God.

Hi a_delphic, interesting question.
First, no one knows for sure. However, if you feel like you are spiritually led, then you are, no different than the biblical writers. They cannot prove it and we can not disprove it.
However, I know we can experience being spiritually led, for I have experienced it, so I am certain you are.
Anything more than that is a faith issue. However, I fully agree with spiritual growth.

Yes I believe they are emissaries of God.

From God, is a term that creates far to much distance between us and God.
All of us are parts of God, as are our spirit guides.
It is just one part of us helping the other.
There is no distance to be traveled.

Show me scripture proving that we have spirit guides, and I'll believe they're from God. Otherwise, the only other source of spirit influence is Satan and the demons.

spirit guides generally start out giving good advice, to win our trust... eventually they will start steering us into half truths and then into error....what someone else said about demonic spirits is true...give it some thought .. it is your soul and eternal future at stake..
