It was delayed to late 2007... Theoretically XP Home Edition Mainstream Support was due tuo end this summer, but Microsoft extended it until the first of january 2007.
I don't know if the service pack will be released until then and even if it will be, what will be the use of it since all important patches for xp home edition won't be supported anymore...
