yes it should be immigration reform or something like that.
the better life they want is taking away from my better life and I'm not willing to share. no wonder taxes are so high!
i heard it cost $ 80 Billion dollars a year of taxpayers money to support illegal aliens on CNN on Thursday last week.
it's funny how they say, their country is starving them. then they say they hate Americans and march down our streets waving their countries flags in our face. they refuse to learn English. yet, they expect their welfare checks on time in their language!
they do need to go back to their own country and make it a better place. throw their corrupt and greedy politicians out of office!
they could hire Hench men to take them out of office.
they need to fix their own country because ours isn't broke!

When I started in Answers! it was about general issues about immigration...but, since illegal immigration's become so big an issue, the overwhelming majority of posts here have to do with the impact of illegal immigration, not only on the United States, but in other countries, too...and our biggest problem seems to be Mexico, in this regard.
The source of the impetus behind illegal immigration's pretty basic, poor people that want to move to a rich country and earn money...on the surface of it, there's nothing wrong...until you stop and realize that they've been kept poor, on purpose. Then, you start seeing the darker ramifications of the whole enterprise, and the possible scale and scope of the problem and its' theoretical negative impact potential on our country.
It's estimated that there's somewhere between 12 and 20 million illegal aliens in the US alone, don't know about other countries, but that's the estimate for our country. Suffice it to say, if 12 million people were inclined to go out and raise hell in our country, it could be 'bad'. WHAT they're doing in our country to begin with is a GREAT question to be asking at your next city council meeting...and county, and state, and national, too.
Public accountability in our representative government system is Pretty Damn Important. I don't think it's out of place to ask for some of that on this issue. Either our representatives represent our interests, as citizens, or they've basically been bought. Which of the two conditions turns out to really be the case here will be a matter of public record over the next couple years.
How resistant to bribery etc. are YOUR representatives? Hmmm...
Anyway, it's a big problem, a big global issue, time will tell how it all works out...read about all the fraud cases! LOL

There are sometimes questions on here about coming legally, as well. You may only be interested in illegal immigration (and I'm really here for that as well) but where would the people trying to get green cards, etc., ask their questions if they changed the heading?

I think perhaps you are right, and maybe they could have a category for bleeding heart liberals that hate America.I am sick of seeing people disrespect this nation and her legal citizens. You can support what you want but don't belittle this country in the process.

Oh yeah I completely agree. To spit in our faces, the people that are unwillingly, but yet unfourtunatly, bettering their lives, with that protest? They have no right to protest, they are not citizens, they are illegals, they are criminals. I hope we used those protests to round them up and throw em back over that river where they belong, until they can learn to fill out some paper work like all the other immigrants who are legal and more than welcome

People keep saying that but the illegals will never see because if they really SEE then they will have to go home. Don't people see this is a WAR. It's like a civil war but half the people fighting it aren't even citizens.
