It's kind of annoying. School, at home, out at parties, whever. They are always brown-nosing some other relegion or swearing illogical statements about God or whatnot. I haven't a single problem with Christianity, but I really despise the crazy people who misinterpret it. Isn't Christianity about peace and love? I'm a Hindu, and no I'm not a "snake - worshipper", and I believe in Pacifism. It really annoys me when I get my beliefs laughed at everytime I open them. Can't Christians be a little more open to ideas?

Its not about christians or moslems or hindus. Even you hav the bajrang dal and shiv sena who are social crusaders for hinduism. Its all about attitude. Try to respect others feelings and follow your own. Even my dad curses all others than his own religion. But I dont despise him. I personally is an aethist and believe in humanity more than religion. Mebbe one day we will see a new dawn of a new civilisation, wen we will be more civilised. Keep cool. Respect others, follow yours.

Christians must walk a fine line between following Jesus command to preach and teach (Matt 24:14; 28:19, 20), and respecting the rights of others to believe what they will.
If someone is willing to listen and reason on things, then a Christian should do their best to convince them of the validity of the Bible and belief in God. However, if a person has said "I don't want to talk about it", etc. they should respectfully leave that person to their own beliefs.

A Christian is one who follows Christ; a mature follower of Christ would do as Christ teaches in the parable of the "Wheat & Tares" Matthew 13:24-30 KJV...Let the wheat & tares grow together, and not try to pull up the tares.
Christianity is about love, for God is love, it's about being obedient to God, following Christ, not man or his traditions.
A person laughing at your beliefs may not be a Christian. A Christian would instead keep you in prayer (and not a public display). Christianity is a matter of HEART; it's a matter of LOVE; and OBEDIENCE to the Living God!
One following Christ cannot be open to worldly ways/ideas, they're only open to "The Way" whom God sent.

It is too bad that some Christians are loud and intolerant, but I would venture to say that type of behavior exists across the board in all arenas in life. But I think the vast majority of Christians are indeed tolerant, because they have progressed further than others. If you put it into its proper perspective, I don't think it will bother you anymore, having the understanding.

Not sure what nosing into everyone else's businsess has to do with Christianity. Not sure which of the 10 commands says thou shalt mess in everyone else's business.
I guess you problem is the same with the faithful of any religion. The are so sure they're right they want everyone else to believe as they do. Or they are so unsure they want the reasurance of others believing as they do.

Let's see. You believe in Pacifism and you insult Christians. You say they stick their nose in everything and then deride Christian beliefs with a pretty nasty question. Hmmmmm.

I'm sorry that people laugh at your beliefs, that is wrong. But why do I have to be open to your ideas, yet you don't have to be open at ours. Tolerence works both ways.
