Yes, I learned 2 languages as a child, I'm equally as comfortable in both. Sometimes, half way through a series of thoughts, I find my self entering "the language zone", which is the point were I stop to choose a language for those thoughts! meaning that there was no language to my thoughts before reaching that point.

Are you asking about "Language" as in speaking?
Language is the verbal expression of thought.
It is a behavior known as "Verbal Behavior", and it is a method of commnicating our thoughts to influence the behavior of others.
B.F. Skinner studied this as well as Noam Chomsky and many others.
While there are unspoken launguages, such as sign language, it is still a means of communicating a thought that was previously present before the expression of the thought.

So perhaps it would be easier to think of it this way:
You have thoughts all the time. Just because you do not express them verbally doesn't mean you are not thinking them.

Thought is a behavior, you just can't observe it.
In Applied Behavior Analysis, Scientists do not deal with data that cannot be observed or measured, therefore they do not concern themselves with "Covert" behaviors such as thought.
But that doesn't mean it does not exist without the overt expression of it.

If you are a bit open minded you can think without language and get more info from everywhere using image thinking. Base of telepathic contacts are images, not words. The same for thoughts: they are secondary in words and primary as images. Some people use sounds, colours, numbers... but i do prefer images

Animals think, yet don't use language. There is, however, communication without language...

i guess that there must be but it would be quite frustrating and you would probably have to develop a language to express your thoughts. so perhaps thought creates the need for language.
