We had this problem. So we mixed in another dog food with not so much fiber. (vet recommended!) Half and half... It cute their bowl movements in half. We use Science Diet, but since it's so rich we mix in Purina puppy chow. It helped us...
Good luck!

I have no idea what purina OM is... but I STRONGLY suggest that you get that dog over and on to Eukeuneuba... BUT.. if you do... you must GRADUALLY introoduce the dog to eukeuneuba.. that is put 3/4 of the normal food allottment of the regular dog food and 1/4 eukeuneuba.. then after a week, increase to 1/2 and 1/2 and then after another week, 3/4 eukeuneuba and 1/4 purina or whatever you are NOW feeding it and then eventually eukeuneuba..That eukeuneuba is good for the digestive track..GREAT for it and reduces the stool considerably

Unless the dog needs to be on the OM, I'd switch brands. The higher fiber content will just lead to more stool. There are other brands that are more easily digested; some in fact claim to create below-normal stools as they are more completely absorbed into the system...also, I'd check Fido out with a vet just to make sure there isn't another issue going on that's causing the excessive BM's. Good Luck.

If your vet did not specify this food I would switch him to a holistic food. I suggest this because I feed it to my bulldogs and their stools have become much smaller and less often. It also helps eliminate gas in dogs.

that is very normal for OM. OM is very high in fiber so it will make them have more poo. It makes them think that they are full with out adding more fat to their diet. I know because one of my dogs is on it.
