I get about a dozen calls a day from different phone numbers that I don't recognize and I need to know how to block them permanently because they keep asking for someone that does not live here! Any suggestions??

Hit *60 on your phone and follow the prompts. Make sure you have it through your phone service though otherwise you could be charged for it. Or call your phone company and explain the situation and they will give you a new # or a 30 day # to see if the calls will stop.

Where I live it's in the front of the white pages. It's *60 then you have to press in the number you want to block. Not sure what it would be for you. Dial 611 (not 911) this is everywhere and ask them how to do it.

Some telephone companies offer a service where you can block them. Check your local office and see if they have it available. Also get your phonebook out and look at all the information they offer in the front part of the book. There's usually some helpful answers available there as well.
