Yes and no, depends on the context. Some Christians struggle with believeing that God loves them (unbelief). Whereas, generally speaking, non belief would be rejection of God.

Hmmm.. I would think that non belief- would mean they can someday believe if God draws them- but as for now they are not saved yet- for it is all in God's timing...and unbelief would mean that they are NOT going to believe no matter what.

--I am just throwing that out though- That is my opinion.

non- sense of not,simple negation,
un- generally emphasize negation strongly or add a sense of
direct opposition to that of the words to which they are joined.

example: non-American specifies only a limitation
un-American simplies active opposition
