My son is going to be Yoda for Halloween and I have been having trouble finding a brown sweat shirt and pants to go under his comstume. I don't have time to shop around. Has anyone with kids seen sweat pants or something similar in brown at any local stores in 18 month/24 month/2T size?

Check at a craft store. I'm not from the area but usually the big chain craft stores like A.C Moore, or the Rag shop or whatever you have in your area, that I'm not sure. It has to be a big one though. Usually they will carry sweatpants and shirts year round in all the different colors for childrens groups to use for their various activities. Also look into thermal underwear instead brown is a pretty basic color for thermals. All else falls grab black and be happy with, the costume is over top and that's what matters. I know you think that its gotta match but really is anyone going to be looking at the sweats under the costume or are they going to be looking at the cute little guy in the yoda costume all excited to get dressed up? It took me years to realize this but really that's the least important part. Have fun!

I live in your neck of the woods. Your best bet is to buy white and dye it brown. You can get the dye at Krogers and JoAnns Fabric. It doesn't take long to do and will save you from driving all over.
