i've gotten suggestions to ask this guy out and some say to play "hard to get" what exactly is that? If i do decide to just ask a guy out what do i say besides will u go out w/me to encourage to say yes instead of begging, or going right out and saying pleaz go out w/me?

Don't start out playing games unless you want him to play games with you. Don't ever beg anyone to go out with you, it makes you look desperate and nobody wants a desperate girl. Ask him out normally and if he says no, then walk away as if it doesn't bother you. Better to know than to play games and try to trick him into going out with you.

Never ask a guy out. Your only gonna hurt yourself later on. Have someone you know that knows him well, that you like him alot. But dont chase after him. Play like a cool cat, smile and nod your head at him, thats all. Dont let him think you have the hots for him( thats how playing hard to get is). Let him wonder why or what you have that others want. Be very nice to everyone even the people who may not be in you cache.

Um...what they mean by playing hard to get is DON'T EVER ASK A GUY OUT...
It is amazing how many girls on here are asking guys out...It is not going to last if you do. The biggest part of how a relationship starts out is the guy having to "chase" the girl. If the guy asks you out, it will be like something he earned, and he will treasure you. If you ask a guy out, it will show him that you are easily available and he will not respect you like he should.
If he truly likes you, he will ask you out. Don't ask him out. Trust me on this one.

playing hard to get is to make yourself busy alot, it makes guys want to do almost anything to be part of your time...i dont encourage that, if you hint him that you like him he'll ask YOU out

yeah. guys are getting lazy nowadays because they know girls will ask them out if they're really interested. if you know that no other girl will ask him out anytime soon, just be really flirtacious with him and when you see him make sure one of your guy friends is around and flirt with the guy friend so the guy you like knows that other guys want you to. just make yourself seem really desirable and he will probably fall for it if he really wants you. apparently guys love to get girls that are desired by alot of other guys.

Ask him if he wants to go with you to see a movie (one you were planning to go see anyway). What he says will determine what you do next.
