I got my hair permed professionally and it was way too curly so I used black person hair relaxer on my own to make it less curly, it worked great. I want to make sure there aren't any chemicals left from the perm and relaxer that will turn it a color I don't want, let me know what you think! I'm planning on just dying it dark myself. Thanks!

So........ do you want to loose your hair? If you use a relaxer and a chemical dye on the same day, chances are very good that you will destroy your hair beyound all hope of re habing it. You will likely end up cutting it very short and keeping it that way while you cut away all the ruined hair. Now, that would be a pretty look. Why not just put in a pretty colour and embrace the beautiful curls given you. Care gently for your hair and enhance your natural texture. It would be so much prettier than fried, lank, over-processed or totally destroyed, hair.

Nothing will happen to your hair. Seven months is a long time. It doesn't matter if you do it yourself (as long as you know what you are doing) or professionally. Just never perm and dye your hair at the same time. Always, always wait 2-3 weeks in between.

Your hair won't turn a funny color if it's been 7 months. I wouldn't worry about it....just get it dyed (professionally).
