It sounds like you want to know the truth about what God wants. God promises to show you the truth if you really are looking for it. Look at John 7:17 and 2 Timothy 2:15. We are to keep our eyes on Jesus and not follow any man if they go another way.
Some customs in the Bible were for that time period and some were for all time periods. Some laws were done away with at the cross and some were now.
Matthew 16:27,28 Jesus was talking to a group that included His disciples. Look at Matthew 17:1-9 and you will see that three disciples did see the transfiguration of Jesus which was a symbol of His return.

Sometimes controversies about Bible translation can be a real problem accounting for the many denominations within the Church. I have found it a great help to get a grasp on the basics of Jesus' teachings and set aside the higher theological questions until you have a better understanding of scripture.
The Holy Spirit guides an individual in the ways of truth through prayer and study. There will always be someone who has a different opinion of scripture (including pastors) but ultimately you have to form your own conclusions. Have patience.
Jesus was not speaking of coming back in His generation in Matthew Chapter 16. There are 2 thoughts on this verse.
1. He was speaking of His Transfiguration Chapter 17
2. He was speaking of the day of Pentecost. Acts -Chapter 2.
May God be with you.

Why are you going to a church which doesn't follow your religious beliefs? First, pray that the Holy Spirit will inspire you and teach you; then read and study the Bible with the Holy Spirit's guidance. Is there someone you trust that would help you with Biblical instruction? Find a good Bible believing study group which you feel comfortable with and join it for weekly study. Find out yourself what is in the Bible and how God wants you to interpret it. Watch some good Christian TV and begin to feel comfortable with God's Word. Many women today in every kind of church still wear head coverings especially Amish, Mennonites, even conservative Catholics so this is a matter of preference; regarding homosexuals, we are to hate the sin and love the sinner regardless of the sin, The Bible also says no one knows the day or the hour which He will return so don't worry, just be the best that you can be until He does return. Do not randomly accept what someone tells you, even a pastor, Study God's Word to show yourself approved and learn for yourself.

The headdress issue was about a custom of the Jews, the return in that generation was about the destruction of Israel which happened not long after Jesus died. Your preacher is a fool, find a real church, preferably non-denominational. Homosexuality is to be condemned along with ,adultery, masturbation, pornography, etc. Your preacher is most likely a pervert or worse. Never listen to just one preacher, listen to many and you will start to see the big picture. John Hagee is an excellent start, if you have Internet, go to oneplace.com, you can listen to dozens of different preachers. You are being led straight to hell by this liar.

You need to heed God's instruction all the way. I think you need to read the bible and see what it says About false teachings and false doctrines. If you pastor is compermising scripture than he is totally wrong. you need to read up on this than go confront him and let him know that he is wrong. "1 Timothy 1:10 - For fornicators, for sodomites, for kidnappers, for liars, for perjurers, and if there is any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine,"
"Fornicators:those who practice any sexual immorality, Sodomites: perverts, homosexual, those who defile them selfs with other men. Any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine: Paul completes the list with a general statement entailing everything in conflict with the immutable moral law of God, the accepted precepts of Christianity." I faced a simulare situation. My Pastor Stood up behind the pulpit. He said that it was ok to gamble if you did not attend to win. I was mortified and did some heavy praying and reading of the bible. I also contacted a proffessor I knew at the bible college I attended. I used this as a baisis Luke 4:12. I showed him through scripture that what he said was wrong. I think you should do this in a very prayerful attitude. I will be praying for you. I also get very frustated when people try to shove their convictions down peoples throat.

You must obey your pastor when you know that he is not contradicting the word of God, but he clearly is in this case if, he himself is in agreement, with homosexual practise.
If this is the case then find yourself another Pastor.
Many things that are recorded about what Jesus said are taken out of context and are debated over and over and will continue to be ad infinitum, Jesus has not yet returned so he must have meant something else.
Did he mean perhaps that he would come back in his appointed time and to those true followers who are his generation and belong to him, for all true christians wether dead or alive belong to his generation.

You obey God, not man. Also you obey God with the proper spirit, which would not be condemning but humble, witnessing the forgiveness of God. Also by understanding the spirit of what is written, you can distinguish between a cultural mandate and an actual sin.
Jesus did not say he would return in his OWN generation...but in the generation symbolized by the reborn fig tree.... which is this generation...after the rebirth of Israel in 1948.....

We tend to pick and choose what to believe based on our interpretations of the Scriptures. Some things are without a doubt a reflection of the culture of the times, and no longer applicable in today's environment. Some things are nonnegotiable as far as salvation is concerned. And of course there is plenty of gray area in between. As for the verse you cited, this may have been a reference to his sitting at the right hand of God the Father in fulfillment of prophecy within some people's lifetimes.

The 10 commandments were for everyone, but the specific old testament Jewish laws were for for the Jews. If you're not Jewish, they don't apply to you, which means you can eat all the shrimp, lobster and crab legs that you want, while not wearing a head covering and don't have to worry about getting stoned to death for it.

ANSWER
First of all it is command of GOD who created everthing that exist. ONLY CREATOR knows what is the BEST for mankind and life being a TEST, GOD will test mankind by any means. Also one of the reason is the animal is unclean that means it eats **** of human and how can one imagine eating its flesh which is composed of human ****. In other words can one imagine eating human ****.
