Sounds very sad. I can't imagine any father not loving his son because he thinks he is gay. I have 4 sons, and as far as I know none of them are gay, but it wouldn't matter one bit if they were. I don't know how old you are, but many children think their parents splitting up is their fault, and it very rarely is. People get together and fall in love, but a sad fact of life is they can also fall out of love, not because of any one else, it just happens. Most fathers and mothers still love their children, but use them as a tool to hurt the other. Your best plan is to get in touch with your dad and ask him. I think you'll find he is in Spain to be with his girlfriend, not to be away from you.

I agree with Ray P. And my heart goes out to you. I guess your parents are recently divorced? Parents are just people, and they want to get on with their lives. I am sorry that you feel left behind- maybe you should tell your dad how you feel, when he gets back. He may not fully understand your needs. When I was young, my parents were divorced and I didn't ever know if they really loved me, or were just more concerned with themselves. I don't know your whole situation, but you sound like you would like to see your mom. I have been where you are, except the gay part (I just thought my dad ignored me because I was too quiet, or too dorky, or stupid and ugly), and spent much of my adolescence in a depressed state. It helps to have someone to talk to- just be careful who you latch onto. I don't know if you feel God in your life, but I will pray for you. You have a purpose- even when human beings fail us- God never will. You will make it through this time, and you will be happy because you will learn from the mistakes of others. It will make you a better person in the long run.

that's cruel i feel sorry for you, your grandparents have no right to tell you u cant see your mum, tell them that it doesnt matter either way because when your 16 it will happen anyway, i know your not supposed to do this but i would go behind there back, she is your mum!!
