I read several articles warning that human over population will be the end of our existance on the planet.. our growth is consuming farm land for housing.. polluting the skies and water and soil.. that in 100 years life expectancy will be ENFORCED (shortened by death to older individuals) to reduce the numbers... that in 50 years there may be a "every man for himself" way of killing off others...

so.. how many kids is too many??? becuase if we dont act now.. the future for every kid we have is going to be bleak....

I said FROM A GLOBAL STANDPOINT - not a personal one -
the theory of each child replacing the parents is incorrect since the parents are still living.. as are the grandparents and in some cases the great grandparents.. I am interested in seeing how many people are selfish/ignorant of facts....

From a global standpoint, more then two children are too many. The world is being over populated and the human population has doubled over the past 60 years. If the population were to double again over the next 60 years, the earth could not sustain life. The planet is having trouble sustaining the life we have now. I personally believe the countries of this planet should come together now and adopt a rule enforcing a one baby limit per family. China is doing it already. I comend them for taking steps to fix their over population problems. If everyone had a bursting population like china, the planet would already be dead.

The way I look at it is have as many as you want. If it doesn't say it in the bible then it really doesn't matter. Because in the bible it say that the earth will be destroyed by fire. But hopefully that doesn't happen any time soon. No one knows when God is going to come back not even his angles. Sorry didn't mean to get all biblical but I'm just stating the facts. So that is my answer. Take it or leave it.

I think that is a personal choice. I mean, I'm on child number 5. Who has a right to tell me I HAVE to stop having kids? No one. I think the pollution is due to far more than people having kids. teach the population to recycle. Teach them to re-use things. How many cars should one household be allowed to have? Should they be allowed to have those huge gas guzzling SUV's that pollute the air? You see...it's far more than people having children. And in case you haven't noticed, people kill people off every day already....

If we properly use our resources and teach recycling and such...and make it MANDATORY rather than choice, we could do a lot for our planet without saying you can only have a certain number of children. Kinda of like a house can be a disaster area with one child as easily as with 15...and in the opposite, it can also be just as clean. Just tkaes training and proper education.

Really, one boy and one girl would be ideal...but how often does that happen? I think that's why some people have a ton of kids...so they can have at least one of each.

Kids are god's gift and if he wants to bless you with 50 kids then accept the blessing

Each family is different and should decide how many children is "too many." I think it's wrong for a government to tell people how many children they can have.
