i just got a perm 2 weks ago, and im thinking about getting my hair colored. is it ok to get it colored now?

I would wait at least two more weeks before putting in hair color to be on the safe side. Too many strong chemicals all at once could do damage to your hair and cause breakage. But, I'm not an expert on this so try asking your stylist to be sure.

Yes, you can get it colored now. My hairdresser uses a very expensive perm on my hair. It's called Joico. She perms and colors my hair at the same time (first perm and then color). I've never had a problem with it and my hair is in really good condition.
Keep in mind that coloring your hair will relax your perm a bit.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
Each time you have something like a perm or color done, it lifts the cuticle, which damages your hair.
If you have healthy hair, wait another month or so.
If you did it this soon, your hair will dry out and frizz the perm.
I know,because I did that, and my hair was like a big fuzzy peach!!
Wait a month, then do it. If you are going dark however, you are only depositing, not lifting, so color is ok.

Follow the directions that came with the product used, the general rule of thumb is 1 week for coloring, and 2 weeks for highlights, or anything involving bleach.

i did the opposite. i permed my hair and then i colored it but my hair stylist told me to wait at the very least a month. you dont want too many chemicals damaging your hair.

You need to wait two weeks and if you getting a permanent color make sure your hair stays conditioned every week and trimmed because your hair will break off.

you can after four weeks so that your hair does not break but still not a good idea to keep perming and coloring.What ever you do dont go bald!
