I am 5 foot tall and I have an IQ of 134; I was a straight A-student in school and have two university degrees.
It's true that on average taller people have a higher IQ, but that's just an average. Clearly there are going to be many intelligent short people, and some really tall thickheads.
And I'm not sure IQ is always related to being "smart" either - I've met some people who belong to MENSA who are just plain idiots. There's different kinds of smarts!

When I was in college I used to tutor the basketball team as part of my work study job. The running joke was that they needed help with their studies because they were so tall the altitude affected their brains----lack of oxygen and all that! ~grin~
I've heard of a lot of things affecting "smarts" but this is the first I've heard of anyone's height having an affect!

I'm 5'8 and I got all A's in college but I think that's just a coincidence cuz I know some pretty dumb tall people.

I'm 4'10" and I'm an A+ student on the honor roll so i dont think that's always true but you can be tall and smart

If you're 5'8'' and you're asking that question, then I would have to say no. Intelligence has nothing to do with height.

I'm 5' 4" and straight A student. However, I tutor someone whose about 6 feet and isn't that bright..
So I'm going to have to say no.

i have a 7 feet tall class mate.. n he's an idiot..he cant even put jam on his toast in the lunch time..
