well I think it is, so in meeting anyone it is obvious you need to be yourself that being said, were do people who like to stay home meet others like that. I asked a similar question last night and everyone said go out play sports and things like that. If you don't like to do those things then you are defeating the purpose cause you are being someone you are not. How do poeple who like to stay home and do not like partying sports or anything like that meet people?

There are a lot of people who like to stay home, but not 100 percent of the time. You don't have to go out and play sports, but go out and do something that interests you, go to a book store, with a coffee shop or something. The love of your life, more than likely wont come knocking on your door, you just have to get out there.

Well if you want to meet people you have to go where there are a lot of people. Then you might meet someone who does like to just stay home.

you could try the 1-900 numbers but way too expensive so i would have to say the internet go to dating/personals and find a match. there are alot of people just stay home and have to take care of their kids or dont like the bar scene or sports. it is good to go to church though can meet alot of great people there too.

Well, unfortunately, people are not going to come to you so you have to go to them. If you are involved in any church activities, you could make friends there, otherwise I guess there are dating services and the internet. If you don't like to go anywhere these are your only options to stay in the house and still meet people.I would just say to be careful because you never know who you are really talking to on the internet.Sometimes we have to go outside our comfort zone to make new friends.

There are Internet sites for singles. Also there is church and I've also been hit on in the grocery store or Wal-Mart and/or the laundry mat. Many communities are starting singles groups especially for people that would rather stay home.

Okay, to give you a serious answer. It's called online meeting. I mean there are several good dating sites, just go to any search engine and type in dating sites (you can usually join for free but not contact anyone unless you pay, which blows, but hey if you dont' wanna get out guess you have to pay the price), not to mention there are loads and loads of chatrooms out there with singles in them. good luck.

well, there must be something you are interested in.... Maybe reading? Alot of the book stored have coffee areas now. there are alot of other ways to meet people. I met my boyfriend on myspace. We talked online for about a month and became friends, then we finally met and have been together for 7 monthes now.

do yu have an interest in anything? if you do then there is a group, club or organization for it. search local online for those who like to watch tv or got to movies or start a website for people like urself who hang at home and still want to meet people call it meetpeopleathome.com

ill let you in on a little secret, no one is ever truely themselves when they meet other people. you are always trying to impress them to a certain extent, especially if you like them. and dont listen to people who say love will find you, cos it wont. things arent like they are in the movies. you wont meet the love of your life on the bus to work. you have to get out there. sorry, but its the truth
