I think the real issue of immigration is land space in america. I personally think that america is going to overpopulate in the coming years and run out of space. especially in the regions that is already overpopulated. how can america absorb all these people? i dont think america is here for people to escaped to because the people that is here and have been born have to suffer the changes. I am already seeing 2-3 more things that they take out for in taxes in my check. Im not saying that America cant try to help some people, but its seems as though america is going to run out of space. what do ya think?

American citizens like goods and good life - we atract people, who want just that... american businessman does not care who he sells his goods to as long as he makes money. American citizen calls his country "The land of oportunity" - and is very happy that anyone buys his cheep goods made in China.... Amerian businessman would not have his childen work in a stinking kitchen.. you pay high taxes so our politicians get salaries, roads are made, medicare etc. We will run out of land?? Well American businessman likes to strike deals on that too - no one wants to loose their investment...

More than 90 Million People Have Been Added to the U.S. Since 1970

That's far too many people to share the limited resources of this nation.I don't think we want to be as density populated as China and India.Yes we have more room but to who's advantage? Certainly not our environment. Its being destroyed as we speak. The demand for housing
has dwindled our available farm land. With out the ability to feed the masses that continue to come to this nation ,both legally and illegally, many will starve and we will be come a third world nation.I don't want to live in that kind of world.America MUST stop this whole scale invasion of immigrants.Place a 5 to 10 year moratorium on legal immigrants, secure our borders, identify and systematical deport all illegal aliens back to their home country's.It must be done.We must stabilize the population of this nation or drown in a sea of hungry people.

i agree no more wide open spaces we will be facing population problems in the future .

According to the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), an estimated 1.1 million immigrants, both legal and illegal, enter the United States every year. 700,000 of these are legal immigrants; 120,000 are refugees, and between 250,000 to 300,000 are undocumented or illegal “aliens” ( Baldwin, 1995). The United States population at the moment is roughly 288 million people. If this trend of aliens is not decreased, the population will reach 400 million by 2050. How many people can America hold?

but yes we will be broke by then !

You have my sympathies . I don't think Americas problems are as yet as bad as they are in the U.K.
From I know about immigration in America I feel quite certain that is probably Illegal immigrants that cause the most problems .
In the U.K.the problem is much worse .With a Government that has not the faintest idea on how to control legal or illegal immigration
The indigenous population mix is being turned on its head.

middle-class Americans will be broke before we run out of land space - even if the illegals do breed like rabbits!

I think you will find many US Citizens feel the same way you do. We need to close the borders and be selective about who we allow to enter.
