You are quite right. Human have total of seven senses. The five senses that all human use right now are: The sense of smell, the sense of sight, the sense of touch, the sense of hearing and the sense of taste. The sixth sense has to do with sensing immaterial objects, like reading peoples mind and thoughts, or receiving vibration of some one you know who could be thinking of you or experiencing some sort of trouble or even sensing he is coming to see you or call you, or even seeing vision like seeing a ghost or some one dead that know body can see, or perceiving things that is related to the non-physical word. As for the seventh sense, all human will begin to experience this sense during the Christ rule on Earth. This is the sense that has to do with the spirit of every person. It could be sensing the future and knowing what is going to happen to some one before it happens. I t could be the sense of prophecy; the sense that prophet used back in time to predict things of the future. All seven senses will become fully active in Man as time progress in the future.
To sum the whole thing up, the first 5 senses have to do with the physical body of Man; the 6th sense has to do with the soul of man; and the seventh sense has to do with the spiriit of man. All seven senses are in man. The last two senses are being awakened in this age and in due course in the future.

see, hear, taste, touch, speak are the first five senses. The Sixth Sense is knowing something without anyone telling you (like pyschic). Its also a rather good film with Bruce Willis. The Seventh Sense would be the sequel film to the Sixth Sense.

The five senses are [1] sight, [2] sound, [3] smell, [4] taste and [5] touch. Known, in Hinduism, where it comes from, as the "Pancha-indriyas".
The "sixth sense" is that feeling you get that you are being watched, or that you will slip and fall; which is actually the 5 senses working together and giving you imperceptible information. We call it "intuition" I forgot the Hindu word for that, since it's a tongue twister.
The seventh sense is what we know as premonition, ESP, if you want to call it that, when you just know that something is going to happen; which has no relation with the 5 senses like the "sixth" sense has. The Hindu word for this is another tongue twister and I forgot that as well.
Hope this helped.
Cheers.

There is certainly something called intuition, which seems to be more marked in women than men. That is often referred to as the sixth sense. If there is a seventh sense, then I would suggest that it is ability to wonder, which is closely akin to ability to worship.

The sixth sense is provided by your "third eye"--the invisible one between your two physical eyes. It allows you to see the unseen, such as spiritual forces, into the future, into other realities, etc. Essentially, it is the force behind every extrasensory ability that everyone has--sadly, many ignore it because of fear of infernal punishment.

i would put dreaming in the same catagory as the sixth sense , since it uses the same part of the brain that is active during meditation , intuition , imagination and any psychic ability
