I moved to new york from florida to be with the man I love. I quit my job left my entire family and all my friends. i quit smoking because he didnt like it. Just recently I asked him if he was IN love with me and he answered by saying "I dont know" So what was the point of me moving here and why did it take him three months to tell me...Should I waste anymore time or should I just leave?

Did he tell you he loved you or make any long term commitment before you moved there? If not, then that is probably something you should have found out before making such a big move. If he did, but is acting differently now, I'd say it has to do with your relationship changing because of living together. I would probably tell him that you are thinking about moving back and see what his reaction is. If he seems indifferent, there is your answer. Move back and be near the ones you love and who appreciate you. I know how hard it is to love someone when they do not love you back. I try to make myself feel better by saying "why would I want to be with someone who doesn't love me?" Good Luck to you!

Don't base things on how he answers or how you like it to be. Base it on what he is showing you.
I could imagine myself being in his shoes of your boyfriend, as I am not also fond of saying "I Love You" unless I am 100% certain of my feelings and that willing to commit my life to a woman. Therefore, I would also say "I don't know" even though my affection level is at 90%.
At least you know that he is real! He only says those words if he really means it.
Trust me. He's a serious person when it comes to relationships. Take it from a man!!!
I guess he is also not that type which you call as "demonstrative" in your relationship and as much as possible, he wants to deal everything pertaining to your relationship - in private.
Anyway, bottomline - congratulations for finding such a rare breed of boyfriend. Just relax and i hope this response would make you feel better and secured.

Now I notice a lot of ladies advicing you to leave your boyfriend. Don't listen to them. Listen to your heart. Probably these ladies are currently in a relationship with boyfriends fond of saying "I love you's" to them.

It is good that you quit smoking, but not for HIM, it should be for you. Sounds like you need to move back to New York and get back with the people who really love you!

First of all why did you do all of that after only 3 months? And shouldn't you have found this stuff out before you left? This is kinda your own fault... so if hes not in love with you move on go home and resume the live you had before.

Leave him NOW!!! No man is worth turning your back on your family. Admit that you screwed up and go back home, where people truly do love you. I've been right where you are now and I only wish that I had gone home when my gut told me to. Go home. It may be hard at first but in the end you will realize it was for the best!!

MOVE ON...you did all of that...you'll find someone else that will treat yo better. Be careful next time. and yes I would leave him ASAP!...go back with family and friends who will suport you and love you for who you are. But don't start smoking agin. Be a strong and attractive women yourself! and move on.

uhh, u must be feeling abit shitty atm then I guess.
You'd have thought since you moved from ny to florida ... for one person... you quit smoking too for him... left your family and friends behind to be with the one you love, and that's all he can say? seems abit of a waste of space to me.
My ex got me to stop smoking and come see her 30 ish miles every few days to only cheat on me.
To be honest with you I'd ditch, or ask him again and make damn sure your ears wasn't lying.
