I suffer with Clinical Depression & apart from seeing my Consultant Psychiatrist once every 8 weeks i get no other support, even though i have asked for it.
I have no family who i can turn to.I live on my own & very rarely go out.
I feel badly let down by my local Health Trust & have made known to them my dissatisfaction with them, but to no avail.
I need to be put in touch with a service who will stick up for me as i feel there have been too many things gone wrong in relation to my treatment (or lack of). Please can someone help me,thank you.

Hi Terence I know exactly how you are feeling let down by your H&SS Trust. I have been is a similar situation and fought my trust.

You have to take the Health & Social Services the hole hog of the way when you voice your disafaction over services or in many cases either no service or cut backs in existing services they dont hold you as their favourite person and make life very difficult. This is not personal it is their tatatics so as you just go away and stop bothering them. It is a real feet and up hill struggle - keep in their and dont be put off.

If at first you don't succedd try try again like the famous Rabbie Burns.

I wasnt able to get anyone to help me what so ever but I fought on and held to my guns and evently when my solicitors letter arrived on their desk they started to come down to earth.

It is desperate for someone on their own struggling with illness to have to compete with top brass for your basic human rights.

Hold in their and give it your best try the links I have left below for to get a louder voice.

I will be willing to help you if I can I'm little warrior 7 a bit of a thorn in the side of H & SS.

There will be an Advocacy service in your area - they are usually run by the local branch of MIND.

What do you want me to propose to you so which you will no longer pay attention rather the "empty noise of crowded dashing streets" and be a "guidance voice to you" the place you have heard none? Parekoy, that's deep phrasing, you have there. Hehe, how relating to the flashing lighting fixtures fixtures of the entrances of places "you be attentive to the place" interior the Pearl city of the Orient Seas? despite the fact that, in case you have titled this with something like "To ...(some siren)...." then it ought to be greater like a love poem. flow on, chum, I merely happen to pass via.

Have you tried Meadowbank, it's at Hope Hospital in Salford, maybe you could give them a ring and see if they can sort out anything for you. I hope you get the help that you need soon.....X
