After it's too late to do anything about it. This country will be like Latin America by then, lots of resources but economic shambles with machine-gun tooting police in every bank and at every toll booth. And most people living in tin shacks and a few living in really nice houses.

Getting someone to admit when they are wrong is never easy. I don’t care if the “pro-illegal” never say they are wrong as long as they catch on to the real problem and get involved in the solution. We as a country need to get the borders closed and stop the influx of illegal immigrants into this country. The way the health care and other government systems are being drained, in a very short time our own elderly will be without benefits. Those that have paid into the social security system will receive no benefits. We have to stop this “bleeding” of the system and protect our own legal, law-abiding citizens in this country. These people that want to “make their lives better” need to keep the battle in their own “homeland” and help their own citizens make life better in their own country. The US is famous for helping other countries but the citizens of that foreign country must be will to stay in their own country and be part of the solution, not become a criminal on American soil.

They will never admit that they are wrong because some where in Mexico, some one (government of Mexico) have told them that the USA is part of Mexico and this is the place for them to get a decent job, what ever,,and then they could send their earning back to Mexico. Remember these are poor and ignorant people coming across the border, creating a big burden to our middle class and poors in our country.. The problem with all of this,,, is that the US government doesn't say nothing, I mean nothing to the government of Mexico. Naturally the US government then becoming part of the big lie. The problem of the illegals coming to the USA is a problem that the USA government could resolved it in less than a week. But the interest that these people bring to the Mexican government, Corporate America is so great that our government is intimidated that they are afraid to take care of the problem. It look like our US government is afraid of the government of Mexico, for some reason that I don't know. We American knows the problem and we have the power to stop it but we have to stick together and demand, not ask but demand from our leaders to STOP the INVASION into our country, this the only way we could stop it.. They wont admit guilt or fault.I have always said the the pro illegals that speak the loudest have a vested interest in the illegal.They are spouses,loved ones,friends,etc.So they work from emotions not facts.I understand it.I don't accept it as a reason to deify all logic but I do understand their reasons.But to me the plight of my nation is far more important to me than emotion. I try to make my opinions based on truth and backed up by facts.Not on emotions.I don't hate all illegals,I don't hate anyone.But the facts prove it is not good for my city,my state or my country.I want whats good for ALL legal Americans not just a few selected ones.I campaign for all of the rights of all of us legal American citizens.
This uncontrolled illegal invasion of this country has been proven time and time again to be bad for America.and all her people.That is truth and I have backed it up with facts time and time again on this forum.They do not see because they see with the eyes of love for another or their race but they are wrong because its not based on a love that is not blind.I see the faults in the people I love and the country I love.I do not cover them up,instead I try to help the people and my country to find the right path that is best for ALL .

When they are in the same boat, oh! scuse me, SUV, as the ones they are supporting, headed to the southern side of the newly erected fence with their citezenship status stripped from them for being traitors to the nation. Then they may adimt to being mistaken about this whole issue, until then, I dont see them ever admitting to being mistaken about American laws & what is in the best interest of the country.

Its the people who employ the illigals are at fault, stop them doing it by imprisoning them, taking off their business, ban them from being a company director etc etc.
Make it known that you cannot employ illigal staff - then the need for the illigals to enter the country will be stemed.
On an island like Singapore, it should be easier to stop the illigals coming and going. Cane them when you catch them lah ;o)

Pro-illegals (most of them anyway) are simply realists. They realize that the majority of those already here aren't going anywhere. The ones who want a completely open border, full amnesty etc are few in number and way on the fringe- like the anti-evolution religious folks. But like always, it's the fringe nuts who make the most noise with demonstrations, etc.
As long as businesses profit from the dirt-cheap labor that illegals offer, Bush will pay lip service to securing the borders but doing NOTHING, and the tide will continue. What's the status on that fence?

Interesting you say that because all the current exit polls are showing that the democrats, which for the most part, are pro amnesty, are leading and poised to win both the house and senate....We will just have to wait and see what happens on Nov 7.....
