These are what I would suggest, they are great!!!

Divine Meatball Sandwiches

The spread on these meatball sandwiches is what really sets them apart from others. You can experiment and customize by using your favorite meatballs, sauces and fresh bread. Good for a party finger food, or for lunch or dinner. I promise no meatball sandwhich will be the same again! Cook time includes entire process.

2 footlong sandwhiches 45 min

2 (1 lb) packages frozen meatballs, italian style
2 loaves bakery Italian bread
1 (28 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon italian seasoning
1 dash garlic powder
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

In a large pot combine frozen meatballs and spaghetti sauce.
Heat over medium until meatballs are heated throughout.
Meanwhile, mix together cream cheese, mayonnaise, Italian seasoning, pepper, and garlic powder and set aside.
Slice Italian style bread loaves horizontally with serrated bread knife.
Cut loaves into three- or four-inch sections to make small sandwiches.
Spread cream cheese mixture on insides of each sandwiches' tops and bottoms.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
When meatballs are heated, spoon onto sandwiches and top with shredded mozzerella cheese.
Put sandwich tops on and place on a foil-lined baking sheet.
Bake about 10-15 minutes or until cheese is melted.

Put something in the crockpot now. It could be soup, stew, chili, chicken? (I know they aren't finger foods, but my husband and I eat this kind of stuff when watching the game so neither of us has to get up and cook during the game!) Nachos? Pizza? Swedish meatballs? Deep fried anything?

go buy a big pack of chicken wings and a bottle of texas pete buffalo wing barb. sauce use a shallow pan line with foil place wings on pan cover with whole bottle of sauce, preheat oven 350 degree, cook for one hour and then adjust oven temp to 250 and cook for 45 min. Very easy, great tasting, and always a football fans fav......they are also perfect with rolls you can buy at the grocery store heat and serve kind usually in the bread isle, I broil mine until they are slightly brown HOpe this helps

Just cook a lot of finger foods. Foods like: Swedish meatballs, pig in a blanket, veggie tray, cookies, buffalo wings, etc. All of these items are easy to cook and you won't miss one second of the game.

cheese and crackers is a football dinner tradition. you could also order pizza, but in my opinion i would cut up slices of cheese and put them on crackers, it's healthy and tastes good.
