well put and yes i totally agree , there are bad apples in every cart
but i believe that many of our wrong doings are actually met in this life ( karma if you wish )
but i do believe in realms of spirit , and some of those realms are lower
however
this does not mean that there will be any eternal damnation , but a place to reside until you have earned your right to move to the next , through lessons and spiritual advancement
so no hell ( which is great )

Well, I like the sounds of your god! A loving being who doesn't punish eternally! That other guy sounds like a toddler on a power trip.
Yes, it does sound lovely. I don't really think we're going there but if we did, your heaven would be nice.

I think you are lovely. But I am not sure whether we will end up at one place after all that drift into this open ocean. I do like good and positive thinking, I agree, as good thoughts spread light and bring hope and happiness in the world leading up to good happenings. But if the lives of people can be so different, including the lives of those who even think almost alike, then what is the guarantee that we all will reach the same pleasant island at the end of our voyage.
The problem, you see, is that the people who think alike they do not always act alike and this is the point that worries me most. On the other hand the people who believe in acting alike even when they initially think differently they tend to find soon harmony and coherence within their heart and minds.
Ok, ‘God plays no favourites’ I admit, but then again He has give us a choice hasn’t He. What is the significant of this? And the laws of the world tell us that we do nothing wrong if we only think bad, but if we do something wrong we stand that consequences, that is for sure. What do you think?

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you Matthew 7:12 Treat others the way you want to be treated. Walk at lest a mile in someone Else's shoes before bashing or judging them.
God is spirit and He is to be worshiped in spirit and in truth.
Yes it is wonderful God does not play favorites but this is also true where much is given MUCH is required Luke 12:48.
I have not always been kind or nice I have been very nervy ballsy and mean to people when they were only trying to help me.
I am a good person because the Holy Spirit lives within me I am only good because of Gods mercy, grace and unconditional love.

Hi Pangel: I'm upright. I strive but I am not perfect, nor do I wish to be. You might like some of these quotes"
“To be a saint is the exception; to be upright is the rule. Err, falter, sin, but be upright. To commit the least possible sin is the law for man. Sin is a gravitation.” – Victor Hugo
“O Lord, help me to be pure, but not yet.” – St. Augustine
“As the caterpillar chooses the fairest leaves to lay her eggs on, so the priest lays his curse on the fairest joys.” -- William Blake
“as an old soldier who tried to do his duty, as God [not religion]gave him the light to see that duty.” – Douglas MacArthur, an American General
“Well done good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things.” -- Matthew 25:21
“Let us not talk of them, but look thou and pass, these innumerable seekers of safety first, and last, who take not risk either of suffering in a good cause or of a scandal in a bad one, are here manifestly, nakedly, that which they were in life, the waste and rubbish of the universe, of no account to the world, unfit for heaven and barely admitted to hell. They have no need to die, for they were never alive.” -- Dante Alighieri
“God does not require us to succeed; He only requires that you try.” – Mother Teresa
It was a high counsel that I once heard given to a young person, "Always do what you are afraid to do." -- Ralph Waldo Emerson, an American Author
In the parable of the talents, God harshly judged, the person who did nothing with their talent. “And cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” – Matthew 25:30
“Whatever you are, be a good one.” – Abraham Lincoln, an American President
“Men give me credit for some genius. All the genius I have lies in this; that when I have a subject at hand, I study it profoundly. Day and night it is before me. My mind becomes pervaded with it. Then the effort that I have made is what some people are pleased to call the fruits of genius. It is the fruit of labor and thought.” – Alexander Hamilton, the first American Treasurer
“If a man is called to be a street-sweeper, he should sweep streets even as Michelangelo painted or Beethoven composed music or Shakespeare wrote poetry. He should sweep streets so well that all the hosts of heaven and earth will pause and say, here lived a great street-sweeper who did his job well.” – Martin Luther King, Jr., an American Martyr
“Be aware of your own worth, use all of your power to achieve it. Create an ocean from a dewdrop. Do not beg for light from the moon, obtain it from the spark within you.” – Muhammad Iqbal

Yes Pangel I would concurr with you. I think that heaven is no place of limits, since the spirit alone has none. And yes god plays no favorites. This has been suggested in many religions, but it seems that people feel as if he does, perhaps it because they have to. And you know being the spiritual person that you are there is purpose in everything, even those who choose not to believe. As usual Miss Pangel I wish you well

I am neither indiferent, or bad... So I must consider myself good.
Should I answer no, would that not mean I consider myself bad? Why would I put myself down like that?
Which is not to say that there haven't been times that I've acted or reacted badly.
But in the overall path of my life... I'm a good person.

I think I'm a good person because despite extreme provocation I didn't once stab my ex and dismember him then poor acid on some of his remains or sew the rest into airtight canvas rolls so that I could kick and punch him for the next 20 years.
So yeah I'm pretty good - but your heaven sounds a bit airy fairy to me - could we fight some demons on the way please.
