I'm married now, but I used to wear granny hipsters and a corset. Did it affect the date, well it depends on how you look at it and what effect you want to know about. Basically with all I was wearing, I was hot and the guy was not which was great, 'cause I would go home and cool off safe and alone after my first dates.

It has nothing to do with lingerie. Your mood is up to you. As you said it was for a first date. First dates are usually getting to know each other, and having a good time just being with the person. Good luck, and be yourself. The person didn't ask you out for what lingerie you are wearing, and if they did it was for the wrong reason.
