Do you think being a good person will get you to heaven? It won't. You need GRACE from Jesus Christ. And anyone can have it...its a free gift.

Jesus Christ is the way to heaven but you cannot say how he will deal with those that are good natured but have not known Jesus personally. It is up to God on judgement day to decide the fate of all.

We are saved for what Jesus did for us on the cross. That doesn't necessarily make us good people. That's something we work at everyday. It is true His Grace is free but we are also suppose to take that grace and use it to be more like Him. Standing in judgment is not Christ like. Many who attend church on Sunday will still never see the face of God. He can see your true motives and thoughts. You can hide nothing from Him. God didn't come to save the angels, if He did there would be nothing to do.

This doesn't make sense. So even if you're a good person but don't see Jesus as been anything but a prophet from 2000 years ago, you'll cook in Hell
BUT
If you're a convicted rapist, murdered and pedophile but you accept Jesus as lord and praise god, etc you'll get a 1-way ticket to Heaven.

Oh rats! I thought I was answering the first question and then it had...a little extra tacked on.
Well I think I'm a good person because every single day I try to make the world a better place because I lived here. I hold myself accountable for it.
But, no I don't think anything will get me to heaven. No good works, no belief system either.

I'm a good person because I'm there for my friends, a shoulder to cry on.
I don't believe being a good person get you into heaven because heaven in my eyes doesn't exist I believe in reincarnation.

i am a good person. i do the right thing, i help people in need within my means that is, i pray i know that i will go to heaven. Im just waiting for confirmation. i have not heard anything and have not felt the presence of god yet.

i know we will only see heaven by the grace of god...but if we are one of gods children then we do try and do good and be kind, loving and strive to do gods will...so i really think they go along with each other...but we must believe that god sent his son to die on the cross for our sins...and i most definitely believe in the lord jesus christ and the words to live by.....THE BIBLE

My faith sees all people as good people.
It also sees Jesus as understanding this, so he gives grace to all of us. All we need to do is accept it.
