sometimes expiration dates are very important, but mostly on dairy products. chips (doritos, lays chips, etc) that have expired still taste fine, but i wouldn't recommend to drink expired milk or cheese, yogurt. if they are a few days late that should be fine, but no longer than a week

Expiration date is very important especially in dairy food and bread.... Or anything that could get moulds and bacteria... In chips... if you store it too long... and it's supposed to be crunchy... it's crunchiness will be gone...

it's not like if you eat the food or drink that is expired it will kill you, it will just taste a little stale and not as fresh and good as it tasted when u bought it.

no
just shop everyday and buy what you need, most supermarkets throw away whats bad anyway. Whole Foods does. Their standards are higher than mine which are pretty high. If something stays in the fridge too long throw it out.
"When in doubt throw it out" my mom always said
always trust your mom.
