1 Timothy 4
4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
4:2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
4:3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
4:4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:

Telling others that it is wrong or sinful to eat meat, is not the same thing as choosing to eat only veggies out of personal conscience or preference, or respect for God's animal creations. Some people have a very tender conscience toward animals. The scripture says that 'nothing is to be refused, if received with thanksgiving', but a sensitivity toward animals may not allow one to receive their flesh as food with thanksgiving. I think this scripture warns against making vegetarianism a doctrinal issue. Thankfully, many things in Christianity are left to personal conscience. And on those matters we should respect each others consciences. What freedom! (;p)

Hoping the best for you and yours....

That text, 1 Tim 4:3 when using the word "meats" is not referring to flesh food. The greek word is "broma" means basically "to eat food" especially articles allowed or forbidden by the Jewish law.
So, no, she has not been seduced by the doctrines of the devil. She will actually have a better cholesterol level and live longer.

"Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth"

Does refusing marrying and abstaining meat amount to being seduced by Devil? Are you sure your are not quoting out of context?

If it is not out of context, then abstaining from marriage and meat is definitely sin as per scriptures. But if we go by the consistent theme of love in christanity then avoiding meat for love of animals , it may not be sin.

Please dig deep into scriptures.

If it is not out of context, then

Evil has worked it's way into everything. Even the Church.
Doctrines of devils.
1) Read the Bible, only the Bible, and nothing but the Bible.
The Bible says to" judge all things, so you can be judged by
no MAN."
2) Everything is a Mystery. You can't understand it, so don't even
try!
Jesus said, "There is nothing hidden, or secret, that will not be made known to us before He returns. We will be without EXCUSE. Noone will be able to say he or she didn't know
any better."
3) Satan is in COMPLETE control of this world, so everything of
a spiritual nature is a delusion by evil spirits.
The Book says that our Creator will "pour the Holy Spirit
out on ALL flesh, and we will prophesy and have visions, and dream dreams."
Knowledge itself is not evil. It's what one does with the knowledge.
Wicked people use spiritual knowledge to control others.
Righteous people use knowledge to gain self-control.

What? I've been vedgetarian since i was 4 and don't think i've been 'seduced by the doctrines of the devil' . Personal choice, does God not allow fredom of choice if it does't harm others, he may have created meat for us to recieve and water for us to bath in or air for us to fly through but shorley he gave us choice of what we recieve.

Jesus was an Essene rabbi.

Essenes were strict vegetarians.

The word "meat" in the biblical sense is a generic word for food.

According to the bible, humans were meant to be vegetarians. This was modified after the flood because of the scarcity of food, supposedly. "God" intended humans to be vegetarians, according to Jewish tradition and the sect to which Jesus belonged.

No really. She has been seduced by vegetables. Spirituality should not be tied to eating habits, but it is good that she is on a healthy diet: remember your body is your temple, treat it with respect and moderation.

In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.

The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of Gods plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.

Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.

Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.

Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It’s meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.

Love and blessings
