How can you open accounts if you have no credit. My husband has been denied lots of offers just becuause there is insufficient credit. Then how in the world are you suppose to build credit? Does anyone know what a guaranteed credit card would be that you can get if you have no credit history?

A guaranteed card is the same as a debit card. You can cgarge as much as you have on deposit. Apply for a gas company credit card and start building your credit there. You couls also buy a cawith an auto loan. The interest will probably be higher but you would establish credit and then you would be able to demand better rates.

The Eufora card is a scam. This is a prepaid card that charges you outrageous fees. This is nothing more than a expensive debit card.

Check out the site below for information on Orchard Bank. This card is simply the best credit card to rebuild credit with. Charge it up and pay the balance in full every month. Your credit limit and credit score will increase quickly (as long as you pay the balance in full, it is never good to carry a balance on credit cards).

Yes, the Eufora Credit Builder Mastercard.

Its $99 for a 2 year membership ($49.50 a year)

You load money on to it and use it like a debit card.

Every month Eufora will report to the credit bureaus.

I have one, and everyone I know has one.

Guaranteed approval.

Its fantastic...

is it insufficent credit or has he had a bad credit history in the past? there are some card company that will give you a small credit line on a visa or mastercard... a lot of these companies will charge a huge application fee and processing fee..... stay away from them,,, always read their terms and conditions,,,,
another thing you can get a bank account start a savings ,,,you can apply for a secured credit card,, with the bank ... say you put up $500.00 and get a card with a $500.00 limit...
one of the best places to do this is a credit union,, they pay more on your savings than a regular bank,,,
a lot of banks after you have established a good payment record on your card , will switch that card to unsecured...
one of the main things now is to get copies of your credit report and see what they are reporting,,,, under federal law every citizen in the usa can get a free credit report from all 3 credit bureaus ,,, one time a year,,,, alll free...
you can go online type in free credit report ,,, and you can get them and print them online if you want too...

also every time your husban is denied credit , by law they have to send him a letter stateing why and they will list the beureau they used.... and he is entitled to a free report from that credit bureau.... building good credit is hard .... keeping it is much harder,, outside of a major purchase ,,, like a house or car... do not go into deep debt ,,, you will regret it... all you are doing is paying some one else...
i check my credit report 2 times a year,,, and there is always mistakes on mine ,,, the us congress has proven that about 70% of all credit reports contain erroes...
we live here today with the attitude ,,, if we want it charge it,, don't do that.... with todays market ,,,interst rates on cards are sky high...

good luck

You can get a secured card (i.e. you pay a certain amount of money, and this money is collateral for your purchases) if his credit is bad. I forwarded the article below to a friend in the same situation. The article explains which types to look for.

If you don't have ANY credit, you'll probably only be eligible for one with a high interest rate and small credit line. If you are able to get one, either pay it in full or carry a small balance (someone said that carrying a small balance--while making payments on time--builds credit faster than paying in full).

You can also build credit with on-time payments of car and student loans, and similar.

If you are looking to establish credit, you can try applying for a small loan company. Apply for a $200 loan and just make on time payments on it, they will report it to credit bureau and boost up your credit.
If you are looking for a credit card, prepaid unsecured credit cards can help establish credit, you know one of those cards where you deposit money first (like a debit card). Apply at your bank, or research over the internet.
Hope that helps with your questions...

If he has a bank account and maintain it well, the bank will send him a credit card to apply. He can apply and maintains that well, other credit card companies will start sending applications to apply. Also getting a cell phone or even a gas card is a should start building his credit.
