You are assuming that they want to become Americans and assimilate. That's the problem, they want to bring their culture here and not assimilate (look at all the Spanish TV and other media). When Europeans come here, they learn English and assimilate.

Because most people are honest and don't want to break the law by entering into a sham marriage for profit.
Some are tricked into it by the sugar coated lies told to them by the illegal.I personally think its a disgusting thing for any one to do.I marred for love,and because I respected the man I married 35 years ago.Hes my heart and he is what I think of myself.I am well worth his love and his loyalty as he is mine.

They've just caught two more groups doing that. They are really focusing on it. It would be sad if we had to put more barriers in front of legitimate marriages to make sure that isn't being taken advantage of by fraud.
