Money is never really an issue. The lack of it can cause some problems though.

Money/Financial issues is the number one cause of divorce I have read. People also are more likely to forgive sexual infidelity than dishonest behavior with money. And when you really think about it, the money thing leads many in relationships to feel more in control, leading to abusive behavior and ultimately resentment on both sides. This forces one or both to look outside their own relationship to fill certain needs. Total honesty and mutual understanding along with stated long term financial goals from both members in the relationship is very important.

If I had a choice between someone with a little money but managed it well and someone with several hundred thousand dollars that threw his away and wasn't frugal with it, I'd take the man with a little money. However it would be nice to find a man who managed a lot of money well. Yes, its important. Its important to have good credit and manage your money wisely.

NO...if you have little money, you have little problems...if you have alot of money, you have larger problems...remember a person that has money has to keep up with the jones, they have bills too just like anybody else...it may be nice to get up and go wherever you want on a whim...but eventually the bills have to be paid...

Financial difficulties can be very stressful on a relationship. It one of the major reasons couples fight. I for one find it a waste of time to fight over money. If you have it, you have it. If you dont, fighting isnt gonna make it appear.
