One way I will support it. My step son has waited for a legal visa now over 9 years. If they give the mexicans a amnesty, they should give a automatic visa to all my wife's family in the Philippines, fly them here for free and give them each $10,000.00 for making them wait while the illegals were given a walk. In fact, I think they should arrive here and get the cash, then sign the amnesty. Give the same to all the people from every other country that has waited for years to come here legally.

Assuming the asker isn't pulling our collective chain, I think a lot of you have misread what he said. As I understand the argument, it is in support of legal immigration rather than illegal immigration. legal immigrants must pay the costs of their immigration. I do not see illegals being charged the cost of their capture and repatriation. With some visas, legal immigrants must maintain employment so that they do not become a drain on the US taxpayer. That means that they pay taxes (they do not have the right to vote which makes you wonder what the Boston Tea Party was all about, but I digress).

In my opinion, legal immigrants are welcome. Illegals are not.

Its a discredit to all legal Americans that went thru the legal process. It makes them all look like fools for doing what the laws require. If it were me and I did it the legal way ,Id be damned if I would want everybody here illegally to get it for being criminals.Thank you for your intelligence. And remember that when you vote in NOvember.
NO AMNESTY
Know the agenda of the person you vote for
Don't be misled by lies and half truths.

I would also like to see a moratorium on all immigration
for 5 to 10 years and our borders secured.Deport the illegals in a systematic way over that 5 to 10 years.Get this country back in the hands of LEGAL Americans.
Get rid of the politicians that do not care about this nation and find some that care about America first.

Are you kidding..lol....NO one owes you or your wifes family anything.....and just b/c she married an American...that is in NO way means her family(immed or extended) gets "automatic" visas or greencards.

And if an amnesty were to happen(which I hope not)...that would include ALL illegals....not just mexicans....same as the one(amnesty) before.

Got to love the attitude....well if Mexicans get it..than I deserve MORE!...how American of you!

Not only no, but hell no.

I couldn't disagree with you more strongly.

Amnesty for anyone here illegally would be a huge mistake, but expanding it to include people who wanted to come from all over the world would be even worse!

And what exactly would you "give" to American middle-class taxpayers to pick-up the tab for all your "equalizers"?

I say stop all immigration until we have some order in our country!

You are correct. Those who try to follow the law are penalized while those who break the law are rewarded.

Encourage them to work for large, affluent organizations for very low wages and in bad conditions, that should do it.
