everyone is breaking up these days
they say i love you, and then leave like the words where never said.
do you think there is love that last forever?
and why should it be different love for a friend or maybe a family member from loving your significant other?

I believe love can last. Married or not. Over time the passion does fade. That is normal in any relationship. You still have each other to spend time with and care for. What counts is that when you find that special love, it will always be there in your heart even if you are apart or can't be together for some reason. Your soul mate is out there. Maybe closer than you think. Don't think you won't ever find that kind of love....

Loving lasts forever but liking does not. Once you're over the liking, the love thats left can make things alot unpleasant. Hence the beakups.
Its different coz you are a part of your family, while your significant other is a part of you.

i definitely think love can last forever. and i hear what you're saying it seems that today people take love for granted. love is the equivalent of friendship now adays. which is really sad. people don't take it as serious as it was taken in the past. people use divorce now like you would use the morning after pill, if something doesn't work they can just get rid of it. i hope times change!

I think you can meet the man of your dreams and be happy for along time however very few people have what it takes to make a relationship last forever these days....long ago when my grandmother got married there was no divorce , however she was sure jealous when i was able to get rid of my ex and she told me so...good luck to you
