Not to me, they even sell a Jesus costume at Party City, so go for it.
I thought Christians believed that Jesus is God...so why are most saying "how? you don't know what God looks like!"
What's the difference, dressing as Jesus would have the same effect.
And how would putting on some fake costume just to go to a party offend God? Please, if he's that picky and sensitive...then this world would not be the way it is. Besides, doesn't the pope pretend he's God on a daily basis?

Pardon me but I think this is a silly idea. U'll end up offending God his believers (starting with me). No body will understand ur custome & u'll just waste your time explaining what your custume means & why u think God looks like that. And it won't be fun . It's belittling to u cause it'll only show how unable u r compared to Him. What r u going to do then ? create ppl, or raise the dead! Bad Idea! Why not dress up like satan?

Right off, I'll tell you a good God costume is hard to pull off. You'll just wind up looking like Father Time or Old Longbrows from some Kung Fu flick, if you're not awfully dedicated in fabricating a costume.
It will offend some, though, sure.

It depends on what you believe and what your idea of God is. I think you will have trouble finding a physical appearance that resembles God. Anything you pick would be okay, because all things and beings are an expression of God.

It's only offensive if you dress up for "Halloween." Dress up and go to a basement church "Harvest Party" on Oct 31, and god is chill about it. ;)

I'm an atheist, but it's hard to dress as "god" as "god" has no image anybody is aware of. You could however dress as Jesus.
