Playa El Aqua
This is a family friendly beach where many of the locals go. Purchases are affordable and it is tourist oriented. Many young people can be found here usually at the far end of the beach.

Playa Caribe
Located close to Juan Griego its deep water and plentiful palm trees make this a very welcoming beach.

Playa Caracola
This expansive beach is within the city limits of Porlamar and is easily accessible.

Playa Guacuco
Located farther to the north, a short drive of ten minutes, this beach is offers a beautiful alternative.


Playa Paraguito
This beach is popular for its surf and attracts many young people. Although it has less salepeople than other beaches it does have a restaurant and sunshades are available.

El Yaque
The beach of El Yaque and the fishing village neaby share the same name. The beach is renowned for its windsurfing, attracting surfers from around the world. The beach is approximately 2 kms long and about 15 meters wide with tall palms for shade.

I'm not so sure there are beeches there. Maybe a few palms, coconut trees

loads, theres beaches all round it, the best ones are on the west side as they are sheltered but its also much quieter there (beach of your own) , on the east side there in much more life...bars, restaurants etc, the beaches are nice but busy and the sea is a lot rougher. also the island is only about 10 miles across and as petrol is only about 3p a litre taxis are very cheap so its not hard to get about and find a nice beach

H - i imagine by technique of sponser this chap skill someone who will pay for his holiday and sene him for loose with relations. So, questioner, once you stumble on that sponser, be an expensive, and deliver me his address too, will you?
