Okay so this is kind of a long story but...
For so many years, I've been very thin, and small in general. I'm about average height, maybe slightly shorter but not very much. I've always been teased and called anorexic and made fun of by people (you know the whole "Oh your so skinny.....where'd she go...I can't see her...oh sorry, missed you there").
So people are like do you ever eat? And I insist yes, I eat a regular diet, but my friends always tell me how I don't eat enough. I eat 2 eggs for breakfast and I'm full. I eat half a sandwich, pretzels and a few cookies for lunch. I eat the most at dinner. Is it abnormal, though? I'm just never that hungry, and I really don't want to stuff myself until I'm sick, but I can't eat a lot without just feeling full.
Anybody have any comments?

No, thats not actually my diet, but it's an example of what I may eat on a regular day. Another breakfast is a small bowl of Rice Krispies with strawberries or bananas sliced in. Another lunch is a thermos of soup with meat and vegetables, and a pear.

No, I'm not at all worried about getting fat. I don't know my BMI.
An average dinner is:
A serving, sometimes more than one but usually just a serving of some sort of meat, a serving of peas or a small salad with lettuce and peppers and carrots, and some sort of carbs, either noodles with sauce or a roll or something.

if your eating habbits weren't abnormal, nobody would
be making comments about how little you eat...
do you know your BMI (body mass index) rating?
theres nothing wrong with being thin, providing you're not starving yourself
-----------
you just posted your height and weight
5ft0in @ 68lbs = 13.3 BMI
thats dangerously underweight
18.5 - 24.9 Normal Weight
< 18.5 is Underweight
http://www.nhlbisupport.com/bmi/
----------
i'd consider dicussing this with a physician

How old are you? Adolecents have this problem for a long time. If so it should be fine. Or if you're not maybe talk to your doctor? it could be some kind of diesese, but not likely. How much do you exersize? If you do a lot, then that would be the cause of some of it. Well some people say this is bad because it slows your metobilism but that is apparently why you're so skinny. Maybe eat more at each meal but not eat as often? I don't have a medical degree or anything, that's just what I think.

Your completely normal. I'm 4' 11" and weigh 97 pounds. I eat a fairly normal diet, but I do not eat unless I am hungry and I stop when I'm full. I've been teased all my live, but the teasing is usually from people that could stand to loose a few pounds. Ignore the comments and enjoy your good health.

You eat as much as you need to eat and not for pleasure like a lot of people do today. It's abnormal for them but not you, don't let people tell you that what's normal for them should also be normal for you.
The reason you're skinny could also be because you have a faster metabolism. You may be eating as much as they do but do not pack on the pounds like they do. :)
remember everyone is different.
Okay you are on the light side, really light actually. But like I said everyone is different. I am 5'3 and weigh 115 lbs. But I'm also a size US size 2. Now at my height and weight I should be a larger sized in clothes. I am however atheletic and have good bone density which is what makes up my weight.

unless you are making yourself vomit after eating, I believe that your diet is not abnormal. If I were you, I would go to a doctor for a good checkup. You told us what you eat for breakfast and lunch, however, you did not tell what your dinner menu is like, do you eat at least 1 serving of meat or milk, at least 2 vegtables or a vegatable and a fruit, a bread serving and maybe a snack of fruit or nuts later. Are you very worried about getting fat?

make a food diary for yourself for about a week, don't change your diet just because you are doing the diary - that won't help. after doing that go to http://www.mypyramid.gov/ and it will give you the USDA recommendations for your body, see if you are eating that. if not, start substituting. without knowing what your actual diet is, no one can really make a decision that you are or are not eating right. if you still have questions, talk to a nutritionist (who will probably have you keep a food diary anyway, so it will be nice to already have one started).

You don't have a healthy or balanced diet.
You may have some deep-rooted problem that was initially connected to food. As you are asking the question, there is something inside telling you to explore - if it is a major concern, don't get advice in here, see a nutritionist for a check up on your diet or a doctoe to assess your health and mind.

the thing is that u don't eat normally..u eat mostly sugar which gets u full very fast and doesn't really give u either energy or the desired vitamins. if u go to a dietologist u will have normall diet as meat, carbon hydrates and fruits and gain the normal weight. u shouldn't eat eggs every day...it's bad 4 yr cholesterol. u don't eat well.

By what you said,if you're eating what you say you are, there's nothing bad.It could just be your metabolism. You're eating lots of sugar, instead of cookies,maybe.....a banana?
My 14 year old cousin is called anorexic by her friends, but when I'm over,We make iced tea,get heaping bowls of ice cream, and eat food like you wouldn't believe.Ignore there comments,If you're not unhealthily skinny, they might be jealous.
