Generally, you can reset all sorts of computer controlled systems in the car by removing the power from the system. Disconnect the positive terminal of the batter for 10-15 minutes and then reconnect.
If you have anti-theft systems in the car, you'd probably want to make sure that you have all the codes to re-activate the equipment.

Volvo doesn't make the Touareg, It's VW, check the manual or call a VW dealer.
