Go to www.hufa.org - the symptoms link. Your symptoms of indecision and bad memory, as well as anxiety and depression may also be due to low blood sugar, a condition caused by high insulin production (something that can occur naturally as we age).
Check out the low blood sugar link for some basic information.

Finding the motivation to seek help is one of the hardest things to do when you are depressed. Obviously the Zoloft is not as effective for you anymore. You really need to see a doctor to try a change in meds and you also should seek counseling or behavioral health classes. Ask a really close friend or family member to help you make a doctor appointment and to make sure that you go to it. That's the first step. Based on the outcome of the doctor's visit (change in meds, etc) you can then work on the other issues as you're able to. Continue to use someone else's support to help keep you motivated. If you don't have anyone close to help you, look in the phone book under mental health for a local support hotline. Even an online forum or chat group may help. The important thing is to take one step at a time so you don't feel overwhelmed about making decisions. I wish you the best!

I really want to recommend Tom B.'s answer, and add just a bit to it. These days there are support groups for many areas, and it is likely that a depression or anxiety support group is available nearby. It helps lots to find you aren't the only one suffering. If it is easy to rationalize not going because someone there may know you and you are uncomfortable with that, then simply look for a group in another town.
You can do much to help yourself, but let your Dr. know of your progress or lack of same. If you are getting your meds from a general practitioner Dr., I'd recommend you see a Psychiatric Dr. with much more information and a better knowledge of meds. Best of Luck.

May the Zoloft isn't working good for you....because you totally sound like the anxiety and panic attacks and depression are still an issue...See if your doctor will give you something like Luvox...it is very good, and maybe some low dose of xanax...but watch the xanax, it is highly addictive...in the meantime...I would pray to God and to Jesus to help you and you just might find you don't need any medicine at all....With Them...you can learn to trust them enough to structure your life to omit the things causing your troubles...and I know a lot of people will thumbs me down on that one...but all things are possible with the Lord. Good luck!

Sounds like depression, pure and simple. You might need your Zoloft increased, or be switched to a different medication. I would force myself to go to the market, get around other people, and attempt to socialize, if I were you. A lot of your problem may just be habit by now. I'm the same way in a lot of ways. But I make myself break routine and go do things. You can't lock yourself away forever, people need you and miss you I'm sure.

Nothing is wrong with you per say. your generalized anxiety disorder may play a roll, but otherwise by working at home you may have developed phobias of other people. My advise is to get out of the house. Take small steps at first. Get to know people better, and as you start with bigger steps, maybe go to a concert or something similar to that. just take your time, and you will begin to feel better about your life in general.

It sounds like you're having a difficult time making commitments. Did you know that your Zoloft will be twice as effective for you if you add in councilling sessions? Talk therapy might be just what you need. Or, perhaps a switch to another anti-anxiety med. Zoloft by itself doesn't seem to be doing the trick for you.

You already know what's wrong with you. You are probably depressed along with the anxiety. You need to see your therapist and doctor and probably change your medication. It's not working, honey. That happens to alot of people. Why suffer? MAKE YOURSELF go to the doctor; if you can't tell him what the problem is, print of copy of this question and take it to him. Ask for a change in meds. Godloveya.

It sounds to me like you answered your own question...anxiety... are you seeing a doctor, apparently you are if your on Zoloft but, when was your last appointment? maybe it's time for a new check-up.
I can understand the anxiety your having, you cannot make a decision or keep one once it's made. You need help.
