This question gets asked very frequently. It simply amazes me how many people continue to either give the wrong website, or (as Pathfinder says) isn't possible to get! Just wondering where these guys come from, and why the respond to questions when they don't have a clue about the answer?
The government mandated that the credit reporting agencies set up a web site and make credit reports available FOR FREE. The agencies set up a site at http://www.annualcreditreport.com where there are NO GIMMICKS! Simply enter in the identifying information about you, and you get your report. No credit card needed, nothing.

Yes the credit reporting comapnies iwll do so but they want a credit card number.
Usually they sell yuor information to other companies and are not a good idea.
Allof the credit reporting companie swant a credit card number to do a free check and yuo can be tyour bnottom butt they have a reason for that, andit is't in your bes tinterests.

All these free credit reports are NOT, repeat NOT free.In order to get it, you have to subscribe for credit reports for a certain time. When I saw this, I just closed the scam website, and forgot about it.

If you call or e-mail one of the credit repositories, which are Equifax, TRW and Experian or something like that, they can get you a Canadian credit report. You can find these guys online.
