Hi there.
I would respectfully warn you to stay away from Mormonism! It's as perverted a form of "Christianity" as one can find. A bizarre mixture of pseudo - Christian, masonic practices with eastern mysticism thrown in for good measure.
Mormonism claims to be a "restoration" of the true church on earth, yet if you try to find evidence in the Bible for many of their beliefs and practices you will be unsuccessful. So, if the Mormon church is truly a restoration of original Christianity, where's the Biblical evidence ? In fact, many of their heretical teachings are actually contrary to what the Bible teaches. For example, they teach that marriage in a Mormon temple is necessary in order to be exalted to the status of a god in the next life. This runs totally contrary to the teachings of Jesus & Paul in the Bible which state that singleness is a good state for a Christian, IF they can accept it.

I am not a member of The Later-Day Saints. I am a Christian but I was in Salt Lake City and they have a museum of how their church got started and beautiful grounds. You can not go into their cathedral but you can through the rest of the area. It was very interesting they do believe in Jesus Christ but they also believe in Joesph Smith who was a prophet.
I do not agree with some of the doctrine but most of it is based on the Bible.

I used to belong to the church but it wasnt the path I was looking for and now I have found the religion that was meant for me. I do not believe in Jesus. The bible from my earliest memories seemed like a boring book that just wasnt real.
