Daughter, no contest. Can't believe these people saying partner because i can have more kids. They're not like shoes, you know. You don't just replace them.

If you married a good woman I'd very much doubt she would give any man the choice of whom to save, it would be the daughter. But you'd still move heaven and earth to try and save both, even if it was you who ended up drowning...

Try and save the boat, your missus can save the nipper. Then drag them back in the dinghy, paddle ashore, go and get a hot dog. You'll laugh about it later.

My daughter (if I had one, which I don't!). I'd only choose to drown if I couldn't save either of them.

who is this partner - my wife or girlfriend? Anyway, for my wife and daughter, I'd try saving both but if that fails, I'll save my wife and let my daughter go. Because my wife can give me more daughters and sons if alive, but my daughter won't.
If my girlfriend - ofcourse I'll save my daughter first.
