Rinse with salt water several times a day. One tsp. of salt in a glass of nice warm water. It helps the ulcer to heal. These things usually last about ten days and hurt like crazy.

it will hurt like ****

but it's the best thing to get rid of an ulcer. it draws out all the crap.

rather than putting salt straight on it...try warm water with a teaspoon of salt and thoroughly wash out your mouth with it.

really, it isnt comfortable...but i recommend it to everyone as my dentist recommended it to me.

Salt acts as an antiseptic or by using salt it will help heal the wound faster but it will hurt for sure.

Try to use warm salt watter, and orabase, you will find it in any pharmacy, but go to see your dentist, that could be a fistula which is a sign of infection, or something else

Well it's gonna frickin hurt like hell duhhhh!
to help it heal got To Wal-Mart in the vitamin isle and get a bottle of L-Lysine and let one of these tablets dissolve on it. The results are not immediate but it will help eventually.
